What is a waterless car wash?
A waterless, eco-friendly car wash is done using a highly lubricated and concentrated solution that has been engineered to produce the same washing results as a water-based car wash. The biodegradable chemicals encapsulate dirt and dust particles. This process is similar to how water removes dirt, but the chemical combination of a waterless car wash product is just as effective. You simply spray the surface of the car and then wipe it off with a microfiber cloth. This process removes any dirt or stains from the car’s surface. By using this method we actually save millions of gallons of water and it’s our way to help preserve the environment. It also allows our Technician's to perform services in more confined areas.
How long does it take?
Depending on the size of your vehicle and the type of service selected, we would estimate this can take anywhere between 40 to 60 minutes per wash.
Do I need to be present before, during or after the service?
If you have selected an External Wash only, there is no need for you to be present throughout the service. The Technician will arrive, clean your vehicle and leave once completed. If you have selected an interior clean also, all you need to do is ensure your vehicle is unlocked. Therefore, there is no other requirement for you to be present throughout the service. The Washaroo App will keep you updated with notifications on the progress of your wash.

Are your solutions harmful to the environment?
Absolutely not! Washaroo prides itself on using biodegradable, eco-friendly, acid and silicone free solutions which are not harmful to the environment or your vehicle. We are paving the way to reduce the environmental impact and the global footprint each time you book your car wash through us.
How much space do you need to wash my car?
Our Technician's are generally very proficient at working in confined areas, however there are still limitations. Please allow at least two feet around each side of your vehicle in order for us to carry out the job effectively.
When will Washaroo expand across the UK?
We intend on expanding in the coming year of 2024. Watch this space
How do I make a booking?
Download the Washaroo App from the App Store or Google Play. Create your account, add your vehicle details and then select your location either by manually inputting your address in the search bar or drag the map to your precise location. Select the type of service you require and a date/time of your choosing. Make payment and await the arrival of your dedicated Washaroo Technician.
What if I have more than one car to be washed?
Please add all the vehicles that you would like to get washed from the "My Vehicles" menu option. Following this, create an order for each car on your chosen time & date.
Do you require access to water or electric to wash my car?
No! Our Technicians arrive well prepared with all the necessary apparatus, therefore there is no requirement for customers to provide any access to water or electric. This allows Washaroo to carry out valets in any area that is safe and spacious enough to carry out the job.
What cities does Washaroo cover?
Currently we are operating in Leicester, however we will be expanding across the country in the very near future. Watch this space!
Will parking be an issue?
Our Technician's will arrive on a bike or moped, so parking is usually not a problem. However, if you require our services within a paid car park, the cost of this must be covered by the customer.
What if I need to amend or cancel my booking?
We understand that schedules change and you may need to amend the time of a booking. If you cancel the booking within 24 hours of the scheduled time, we will charge 50% of the booking fee. Cancellations within 12 hours of the booking time will be charged in full. If you wish to amend your booking 24 hours before the due date to another time (within 30 days) and do not cancel, you will be charged a fee of £5.00. Amending your booking is subject to availability.
